2019 COLORADO CLASSIC TOURNAMENT

Thank you to everyone who participated, competed and volunteered for this year's Colorado Classic tournament.  We unveiled our new competitor and grand champion awards and are excited to be promoting our tournament in the Colorado Karate Association.  There are already plans in place to add even more to next year's tournament and we can't wait to let everyone know what's in store.  Here's to many, many more Colorado Classic Tournaments.  Thank you once again and we will see you all there next year!

From all of us at Peoples Kenpo Karate Highlands Ranch and the Colorado Classic Tournament.

Willie Hicks and Regina Thompson at PKKA Highlands Ranch!

Back for another visit November 2nd and 3rd, the second time was as good as the first.  Sensei Willie Hicks and Sensei Regina Thompson put on another great seminar and booked private lessons for a lucky few who were able to get them scheduled before they were all gone.  It was a fantastic way to get prepared for NBL's SuperGrands coming up in December.

We are already talking to them about another visit during the Colorado Karate Association tournament season so check back for dates and times.  This next one could be SPECIAL if we can pull it all together!

Black Belt Promotion Ceremony

Every Spring & Summer Peoples Kenpo Karate finalizes Black Belt candidate testing.  This is a process that begins a year in advance with rigorous work and dedication.  It is a special time for the candidate and for PKKA as we add to our lineage and celebrate the hard work every candidate has put in over the years.

This year Sensei David earned his 1st Degree Black Belt after starting his training in April 2015.  We are very proud of David and his accomplishment and wish him continued success in all his endeavors.

Congratulations Sensei David!

The PKKA Black Belt Promotion Ceremony is a special time.  It is a gathering of OHANA, a celebration of achievement and a time to remember Sensei Bill and his presence that is always with us. If you have not been to a promotion ceremony you need to because it is something special that you will never forget.
